Marcie Bridges is a freelance editor through Bridges Editorial Services. Marcie seeks to bridge the gap between the writer and publisher through helping authors make their writing the best it can be. Whether simply proofreading their work, or doing an in-depth edit, Marcie guides each author gently through the editorial process. She also works with Elk Lake Publishing. When not editing, Marcie immerses herself in poetry and suspense novels. She lives with her husband, Mark, in Western NC along with three cats she’s allergic to. Marcie seeks to bridge the gap between writer and publisher through helping authors make their writing the best it can be before it goes to the publisher. Whether simply proofreading the author’s work, or doing an in-depth edit, Marcie guides each author gently through the editorial process.
Marcie is an editor for Elk Lake Publishing, INC®. She is also a Silver Member of The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network.
When not editing, Marcie’s happy places is immersing herself in poetry and suspense novels. Marcie has published two books of poetry: Broken and Spilled Out, an offering of poetry and prayers for the hurting soul which includes pages to journal your own offerings to the Lord. Her other book is Wanderings & Ponderings, a book dedicated to the things Marcie thinks deeply about. Marcie has been published in several poetry publications and enjoys helping other poets find their own voice through poetry.
