Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
PRAISE THE LORD!
Psalm 150:6 Tweet: Praise the Lord! Nature in Poetry: http://ctt.ec/7K8cV+ @Marcie_Bridges #nature #poetry
For something a little bit different, here is a collection of poems I’ve written over the years about God’s creation. Perhaps this should be part 1? I have written so many about nature, especially in the last few years, if I put them all in one blog post, well, it would be extremely long. I hope you enjoy these! Let’s worship and praise God for His goodness, faithfulness and love towards us.

SWEET PEACE

White as snow
and pure as gold
the frost it lays
on the ground below.
Clouds all lined
in a sky so blue,
the sun it shines
with warmth so bright.
Nature’s song hangs
in the breeze
trees of green
sway to the beat.
Water sparkles
birds fly free,
flowers bloom
from sea to sea.
If all could learn to love like these
then the world would know
the true meaning of peace.

Sunlight and moonlight…
Daytime and night time…
Summer and Spring…
All nature sings
with praise to Your name
Lord, God Almighty.

Flowers and trees…
Those that fly free…
They that swim in the sea…
All praise Your name
Lord, God Almighty.

To Thee be the glory
forever be all honor
there is none like Thee
Lord, God Almighty.

Music.
Beauty of the air.
Master of time.
All of creation
Follows the beat
Together many feet
March to the rhythm
In harmony, in unison,
There is no stopping
Music.

Listen to the falling rain
that pelts against the window.
Listen to the trees
As the breeze whispers through its leaves.
Listen to the thunder
calling out its power.
Listen to the music
being played by nature.
Listen to the birds
whistling o’er the wind.
Listen to the wonders
all nature gives.

Rippling water
flowing freely
laughing easily
giving of itself
to everyone
who will stop and linger
to watch it play and sing
with the rocks and the trees.
Making peace
in harmony
with the breeze
asking for nothing
but to be able
to give joy to all
who will stop and linger
and laugh, play and sing
with the rippling water.

 LORD
YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL
SO MAJESTIC
IS YOUR CREATION.
WITH ALL WISDOM
AMAZING POWER
TOTAL MAJESTY
YOU CREATED
THE UTMOST
ETERNAL MEANING
LIFE AND LIBERTY
AUTHOR OF EVERYTHING
EXISTING.

THIS IS THE DAY

You wanted Spring and here it is
I brought it to you
on the wind
Trees are budding, flowers blooming
Grasses greening,
Spring is springing.
The dead of winter over now
Rain is refreshing dry cracked grounds
Birds trilling love songs to the air
New love is flowing everywhere.
In this world all lost and lonely
God has given His love so fully
Peek outside your open windows
This is a new day the Lord has made
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
