There’s a place at the table for you
I know, because I placed it there
Hoping you’d come
Hoping you’d join me for at least an afternoon tea
I know you feel awkward
Like you don’t belong even though
You’re part of this family
I love how you smile and laugh and join in
Even when you’re not feeling quite up to the task
You’ll always have a seat at my table
No matter how far in life we go
And if ever you want to bring a friend
No need to ask. There’s room here for them too.
Just come as you are
No judgement here
Just a seat at the table waiting for you.

Are you struggling to believe you belong at the table with Jesus? I get it. But the truth is, you are invited.
You are invited to come and sit with Him. You don’t have to say a thing. Just enjoy being in His presence.
You are invited to open your heart to Him. Maybe you are not a child of God yet, but you want to be, or you are searching for God. Know that God loves you so much, He sent His one and only son to die for you, so that if you believe in Jesus, you will be saved.*
You are invited to Jesus’s table to talk with Him. Tell Him everything and anything. Let Him feed you and nurture your soul.
Just know that Jesus is waiting for you with open arms. He’s waiting to spend time with you.
So, come. There’s always a place at the table for you. Here at the beginning of the year is the perfect time to join Him.
