Hear my cry, O God;

   listen to my prayer.

From the ends of the earth I call to you,

   I call as my heart grows faint;

lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For you have been my refuge,

a strong tower against the foe.

I long to dwell in your tent forever

and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.

Psalm 61:1-4

Can I Trust You, Lord?

Can I trust You in this moment

can I trust You in this place

can I trust You to lead me

when I can’t even see Your face?

Can I trust You in this darkness

like I trust You in the light

can I trust You Jesus

when I have no strength

to stand up and fight this fight?

Yes, my child, you can trust Me

yes, I will hold your hand

yes, I’ll be in your darkness

and your strength when you can’t stand.

I’m with you in your valley

just like a mountain top joy

yes, my child, you can trust Me

listen close, you’ll hear My voice.

I will trust You in this journey

I will trust You day by day

I will lift my voice and praise You

follow the footprints that You make.

I will wait for You in this moment

I will hold fast to the God I know

I will trust You ever faithfully

until You take me home.

Thank You, Lord, no matter what I go through, I have You to trust in. When I trust in You, I have peace. I have protection. I have no need to fear about anything, anytime, anywhere.

Thank You, Lord, that You have everything under control, no matter how out-of-control my world feels. Feelings are not facts. Feelings are not reality. Feelings are what make us human, and give us our unique character. But, that is all feelings are. They are not always truth. You are!

Thank You, Lord, for being my strength and my refuge. My help and my Savior. In You, Lord, do I trust, both now and forever.

Amen.

From My Heart to Yours,
Marcie 🙂
