Encouragement for Discouragement

“Let not your heart be troubled;
you believe in God, believe also in Me.

casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

Let not your heart be troubled
that’s what the Good Book says,
be anxious for nothing
let your soul resonate with this.

Cast all your cares upon Him
yes, He truly cares about you,
lay down that burden you’re carrying
rest — it will see you through.

Do not grow weary while doing good
keep pressing toward the prize,
do not lose heart, my dear child
soon, you will see the light.

Be strong, do not fear
there’s so much to do and see and hear,
with confidence and courage
you’ll find the strength to stand against every adversity.

One final thought to leave to you
love fiercely, be loyal, be true,
don’t quiver at the days ahead
you’re never alone, He’s walking always with you.
