I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;

My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;

So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Psalm 18:1-3

LORD

keep me believing

keep me trusting

keep me hoping

keep my faith seeing . . .

LORD, please,

while I’m in this waiting

just keep me breathing.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

Anxious and angry, I turned away from God, not able to believe He was listening or caring.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

My anger turned to depression. Deep depression, manifested in my inability to sing, write, laugh, or smile. I didn’t want to be encouraged. I didn’t even want to pray or read my Bible.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

My heart became lonely without You, Lord. I cried out for help, and You came running.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

You said when we seek You, we will find You. Lord, I’m seeking You with my whole heart. Help me to find my way back to You. Help me to breathe in Your peace and grace.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

Thank You for filling me with Your song. Thank You for giving me Your love. Even when my faith is weak, when I’ve grown weary, You remind me I am Your daughter. Thank You for strengthening me, and giving me new hope.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD

Thank You for reminding me of my favorite verse, “You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance” (Psalm 32:7). Thank You for helping me to rest in You, and just breathe.

GREAT ARE YOU LORD!

Worthy of glory, and honor, and praise. I will lift up my voice to You and sing, GREAT ARE YOU LORD!

From My Heart to Yours,

Marcie 🙂
