God Loves You

 

The sunrise in the morning

moon beams to light your way

skies of blue, cotton candy clouds

flowers to brighten your day.

Soft summer glow of firelight

drifting of snow in winter’s flight

seasons changing, ever bringing

God’s love letter in every hue.

When you’re feeling afraid and lonely

needing a friend to sit with you

take a step outside, close your eyes

inhale a deep breath inside

feel His love surround you

through and through.

Sometimes I just need this reminder: GOD LOVES ME.

 

Every day He shows His love for me. Some days I see it all clearly and bask in His warmth. Other days, I am so wrapped up in myself and circumstances, I don’t notice at all.

 

That’s the great thing about God though. His love for me is not dependent on what I think, feel, see, hear or what is going on in my day. Isn’t that refreshing?

 

God’s love is unconditional. Do you know what the word unconditional means? Unconditional means there is no condition under which God will not love us. There is nothing—no thing—that will cause God to stop loving us. His love is unlimited, unending, unfathomable, unwavering, and unhindered.

 

God’s love is deeper than the core of this earth. His love is so high we cannot fathom it’s reach. His love is so wide, it wraps around the universe and then on forever.

 

While the world seems to be going crazy, we don’t know what will happen one day to the next, our personal lives may be “falling apart”, there is one thing we can know for sure and focus on.

 

God still loves us. No matter what.

 

May you find comfort in Jesus’s love for you this week, month, and year.
