God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
Psalm 46:1-2
I can’t.
I just.
Can’t.
I have no words.
No thoughts.
Barely feelings.
It’s not just
loss of life.
It’s loss
of innocence.
Loss of …
Words just fail.
Heart aches
head hangs
I can
only
pray.
All I can
ask of God
is
hold their hands.
Hold their hearts.
Hold them close.
Lord Jesus
help us.

I am in the same boat, Marcie. My tears covered my keyboard. Thinking of the families who lost one. Thinking of the children who survived and would live with the memory of that day. Thinking of the community and the nation as a whole. There just are no words.
Thank you for expressing what you could from your heart. Praying with you.
Thank you for the encouraging words Elizabeth. It’s been so difficult to really think about and put into words this awfulness. I’m so thankful I’m not alone in my distress over this travesty. 🙂
