Thank You for the Memories

I remember get-together’s

watching parades

eating until sick

I remember stories told

games played

guitars picked

I remember snowflakes

and rainy days

hot chocolate to sip

Sweet memories

of days gone by

swirling through my mind

I remember and I hope

I never forget

Thanksgiving family and friends

oh, what a wonderful gift.

I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did,

as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,
