Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagleโs.
Psalm 103:1-5
I am so very thankful for the mercy, grace and love God bestows upon me every day.
Days when I forget that I’ve sinned against Him and I don’t understand why I don’t have any peace within me.
Days when I consistently think about all of the hurts and scars that I have instead of thanking Him for how He has healed me from them.
And yet, He loves me anyway. He loves me unconditionally. When I falter, He is faithful to forgive me and to cleanse me so that the peace I’ve been missing, becomes a pool of serenity. Sanity. The worries cease and my spirit calms taking my breath away because I’m in awe of this gift that He so freely gives.
The gift of peace.
I pray today you will find thanksgiving and peace within your heart too.
