The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Twinkling lights, shining bright

Christmas time is here

How can it not be the most

wonderful time of the year?

Christmas trees, decorative wreaths

firelight sparking in the eve

candles glowing, red noses showing

carolers singing, presents sitting

waiting for children’s glee.

On this Thanksgiving, I can’t help but think

of the baby in the manger so long ago

how His birthday has come

we can be thankful for the One

who fills us with joy and hope.
