God’s word is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts as deep as the place where soul and spirit meet, the place where joints and marrow meet. God’s word judges a person’s thoughts and intentions.

There are many books claiming they will change your life. Many say they have the cure to what ails us or will make us better than we’ve ever been before.

But there is only one book that will completely change—transform—your life.

I finally found a
book to save my
soul.

Each word placed
carefully, each
sentence ready to
break my heart to a
million, jillion, little
pieces.

The Word of God is a living, breathing book. The Bible gives us the instructions for how to live the Christian life. But more important, it leads us to Jesus. The only One who can save our souls.

There’s only two catches to this.

#1. You must read God’s Words.
#2. You let His Words sink into your heart and you allow Christ to change you.

God’s Word helps us to know when we are not following God as we ought to be. It shows us whether we are going in the right direction when we are trying to make decisions. As the verse above tells us, it convicts us of sin in our lives but it also provides comfort when we are hurting. 

I can promise you that if you will allow Jesus Christ to be your Savior, to be Lord of your life, and if you will read His Word then your life—your inner most being, heart, and soul—will truly be changed…forever.
