Ticktock Goes the Clock

 

Ticktock, ticktock goes the clock

clock, clock, ticktock, goes the clock

 

waiting we are waiting

a year of being still yet straining

 

pulsing with nervous energy

trying to walk by faith

 

it’s hard when we are so sighted

we need Your hand to guide us

 

O Lord, it’s so hard to wait

but in Your perfect time

 

and in Your perfect way

we will give thanks.
